Works on every stain I've tried it on !!!

The ultimate stain remover that actually works on a seriously set in stain! Never buy oxyclean again! The mixture is:

1 tsp. Dawn dishwashing detergent

3-4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide

couple tablespoons of baking soda.

Scrub on with a scrubbing brush

2oz Dawn

4oz Bottled Lemon Juice

8oz White Vinegar

10oz Water

The secret is to spray on the surface, let sit overnight (or longer) and then wipe with clean, wet cloths to remove residue.

• In the oven, do NOT use heat, just spray, let sit, wipe clean.
• For showers, just spray, rinse, and if you like the shine, wipe with dry towels.
• The secret on whatever you chose to clean is to let it sit, then rinse off the residue. Amazing stuff!

Secret Homemade Formula Cuts Soap Scum on Shower Doors

You’ll wish you knew this one a lot sooner.

If you’re one of the many people who struggle to keep your shower door clean then you’re not alone. They are handy, sure. But, they can develop nasty soap scum and water spots that can make it look like you haven’t cleaned in a long time (despite cleaning often).

For some folks the simplest solution is to buy a foaming cleaner. But, if you want to use something cheaper and gentler to people and the planet then look no further than the secret recipe that one cleaning guru has been using on her shower doors.

Every time you take a shower the steam collects on shower doors. This can cause build up from minerals in the water to disperse on the glass, often unevenly since the condensation can drip or pool as the bathroom cools and the steam dissipates. Plus, there are the inevitable fingerprints and smudges of soap or shampoo that can gum up the glass, too.

Because of all these factors shower doors can look pretty dingy after only a few days or a week, despite having scrubbed ad scrubbed the last time you cleaned.

If you don’t want to use a “scrubbing” cleanser -often they contain harsh chemicals- then the solution most people end up with is just to put in some elbow grease. But, there is a simpler way to ensure that your shower doors look immaculate.

You’ll need an empty spray bottle, vinegar, and plain blue Dawn dish soap. Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 3/4 cup of Dawn and microwave in a microwave safe glass container for 1 minute. Allow to cool and then, pour into a spray bottle.

To clean spray the solution on the shower door in an even mist, coating all the glass. Allow to sit on the surface for 5 minutes or so. When you come back to it, all you have to do is wipe the glass clean and then rinse well. There will be bubbles from the Dawn, but you won’t have to scrub at all.

Just like that all the soap scum and water spotting will be gone. We sure do wish we had known about this trick a heck of a lot sooner. It could have saved some serious investment of time over the years. And just think of all those tired arms from all the scrubbing.

This cleaning tip was posted by All Purpose Mom on her YouTube channel and according to her the Dawn acts as a sort of glue to hold the vinegar on the surface of the glass longer where it can dissolve the grime. Without the Dawn the vinegar would drip down and clean unevenly.
